Installation is moving along nicely, according to Steven Auerbach, the city’s indomitable purveyor of smart parking meters with a few tweaks remaining like those fronting the People’s United Bank headquarters on Main Street requiring a cherrypicker for short people. Mayor Joe Ganim stands 5’6″ tall. The instructional digital readout of the meters above would escape him.

Parking Meter Rebrand Downtown

Bridgeport booster Steven Auerbach, who works in the Department of Public Facilities, is heading up the city’s transition to replace sophisticated modern parking meters with ones more user friendly. Demolition Begins On Dilapidated Boys & Girls Club To Make Way For New

With an assist from a Cherry Hill Construction worker, Mayor Joe Ganim powered the controls to start demolition of the nearly 60-year-old vacant Boys & Girls Club in the North End to be rebuilt under Wakeman that operates a facility in Black Rock serving thousands of kids.
