  1. Smith and Spain will ease the pain!

    Not that their Bragging.

    They’re just not Carpetbagging!

Black Rock Taxes have been Rocked, by Ganim and Burns, to the tune of 29%.

A false surplus by Flatto was created,…… just so Ganim can Vent.

Burns & Kane will do the same, raise Taxes on poor old Black Rock.

Then CEO. Jeff Bezos from Amazon, will just be holding his Klocke.

So you can’t blame Smith and Spain for the bad streets and sidewalks about us.

Or the guardrails at St. Mary’s in such disrepair.

While Burns looks out his front window an profess……”do I really care”?!

Danny Roach sure can pick’em he has in the past, from absentee councilman, punks ,drunks, flunks and chunks all a pain in the ASS!

Now 130 is dirty, an a new broom sweeps clean!

It’s time for Smith and Spain,…………… and Fluck the Machine!!!

  2. Of all of the candidates running for the City Council in all 10 districts citywide, Christina Smith and Pete Spain are without doubt the very best candidates of all those candidates.

  3. They are good candidates. Serious people who have good educations and who care about this community by the activities they have pursued in working and in outside service.

Why is it that the “political powers” to be have provided time from a job working with seniors in the North End, a full time job (?), to work her precinct at PTBarnum? If her position is full time helping those of older age (like this writer) why is she called upon to protect the front desk at City Hall Annex? She was a resident of public housing at one time and celebrates in an alumni event annually at PT, but why has she not publicly advocated for those who reside there presently to advance beyond? Or at least to receive better services from Park City Communities when complaints are made and work orders go incomplete? What is her magic? Does it disappear in the sunlight? Time will tell.

    1. JML, if someone is doing something wrong then it needs to be reported no matter where it happens but City workers have the right to off work on their own time with a vacation day, or a holiday or in some departments where they can swap time with other co-workers.

      1. Ron,
All for employee rights, personally. But how can a taxpayer tell? And when management moves an employee around to be part of welcoming/security at the Annex front desk, what is the full time priority of that persons “assigned” job? And why did Department of Aging, a social service of the City, become a subsidiary of Public Facilities, so such an employee identifies John Ricci as “boss”? Time will tell.

  4. Smith and Spain are, without a doubt, the strongest candidates on the ballot. Burns and Kane have kissed the ring and recieved the imprimateur of Don Mario and the parish priest.

  5. 12:03 PM
My home phone just rang. The caller ID read Lenny 2017 203-290-4890
I answered and a young lady said: “Hi, this is Ashley, today is primary day and you need to vote…”

I interrupted and said not in my town (I’m in Trumbull) and Ashley hung up.

I don’t know which Bridgeport candidate has this worker soliciting votes, but you’d think they’d have a caller list comprised of registered Bridgeport voters.
