And that’s the problem. There are no real penalties for violating the rules and laws in place. We all basically know that which of course is one of the main reasons of apathy at so many levels like voting, etc etc etc.
Which is another reason why you need to give Maria a lot of credit. She knows that there are no real penalties as well and yet she keeps trying to correct the wrongs that she encounters.
Rich, so you complain about Wanda Geter about AB without any proof that she’s did something wrong but how great Maria in questioning and filing complaints about AB, so why don’t you, Harvey and Maria put together legislation for the State House and Senate to pass to improve and strengthen AB voting process and to make the penalty for violations stronger. I’m sure that Maria, Harvey and you Rich, will be able to form a coalition in the State House and Senate for its passage.

Why even chance gathering the council and the public for a `15 minute meeting?..Surely they could video conference it if need be.Seriously,nothing much gets done at these meetings,why chance it?
The west took it as a joke in the beginning when it started in China. Now it seems to be coming to the containment point in china & from some bbc reports they may just have it pretty close to under control as far as dealing with the virus? Time will tell I guess however, most of the city council’s government business agenda’s are usually rubber stamped so waiting a few weeks won’t hurt. It might give them time to read some of the city’s proposals instead of just voting blind, no? ***JUST SAYING***
