Your electronic-graffiti host will appear live tonight (Tuesday) on the cable access show Bridgeport Now co-hosted by Jennifer Buchanan. The program starts 8 p.m. on Cablevision Channel 88. It is also streamed live at www.soundviewtv.org. The number to call in is 203-345-0103. We’ll discuss the Paul Vallas/school board case, the state of city politics following the insurgent wins in the Democratic primary two weeks ago and, yes, loads of gossip as well. What’s the point, otherwise!

Great shows, keep it up!
Electronic graffiti? Hmmm. And here I thought it was merely character assassination and community slum development.
RIP Paul Barnum.
With Lennie on the show, if the conversation gets dull, callers don’t phone in, or you run out of questions, why not see if the audience can help you create a list, something along the lines of THE TEN OLDEST BRIDGEPORT ISSUES AWAITING ANSWERS. These might include relatively new ones like,
* Winter 2013 The Snow Clearing 101–The lessons we learned.
* When did the Internal Auditor pass away and why was he buried?
* When $4Million of “ghost positions” were eliminated in financial reports last September, where did they go to? More importantly, where did that funding get spent?
* If the June monthly financial reports (DRAFT only) have shown surpluses, why has Council President Tom McCarthy not used that as “good news” programing for a City Council meeting after the Salute to the Flag and prayer? Could we have a problem of “unreal surplus” or better stated, “real deficits?”
WPCA, public safety overtime, Airport driveway, City total legal expenses for representation and for settlements, actual decreases in net grand list, and lots more. Help put up some new subjects for OIB to wrestle with. Better yet, why not explain what you expect your City Council member to do in terms of duties? They need direction. Time will tell.
*** Maybe they might even show a short clip of last week’s “Exciting Guess” that had the program call-in switchboard “lit up like a Xmas tree” through most of the informative show! Wish I had taped it for the City Political Archives. *** OH FIDDLE DE DUM, BATMAN! ***
Mojo and Lennie back to back on the show makes my hosting job very easy! Anyone else want an hour in the host’s seat?
Hey Jen, why don’t you ask Jim & Tom, to do the show. They had a great radio show on WDJZ. 203-615-2463.
I am now asking Jim & Tom to do the show! I love having guests–and hope they enjoy being had.
