Lamont reelection: the shoo-in gives up his mayoralship in Danbury to join the Lamont administration as a Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services. Essentially putting an end to his political career and bid to be governor. If that wasn’t sad enough. The R’s reelected Walter again to run. 🤣
