On Friday the mailer below from Connecticut Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas hit mailboxes of voters in Bridgeport educating electors about the rules of engagement when touching absentee ballots, a diabolical political sport that particularly preys upon senior citizens.
Residents of Fireside and Augustana senior buildings notified OIB a few days ago that Democratic candidate for Judge of Probate Mark Bradley and serial absentee harvester City Councilman Alfredo Castillo, fighting four separate state arrest cases for election fraud, demanded absentee ballots from seniors in the building, against state law.
This is on top of an election probe of Bradley and his campaign forging signatures so the registered Republican from Massachusetts could qualify for a Democratic primary against incumbent Paul Ganim. Yes, another OIB moment, a 22-year registered Republican in Massachusetts running as a Democrat in a Connecticut primary. That, too, is under criminal investigation.
Then on Thursday residents at Success Village notified OIB that the Bradley banditos organized a swath at the housing co-op inquiring about absentees and votes for the August 11 primary, including Bradley’s father and City Councilwoman Maria Pereira, a hired gun, also defending multiple state charges of taking absentee ballots during the 2023 municipal election.
