Bridgeport has enacted a strict new ordinance banning big rigs and large commercial vehicles from parking or standing on public streets.
It carried a $250 fine for violations.
Resident Cecil Young praised the rule – which went into effect two weeks ago – noting a significant drop in illegal parking and blocked corners in the East End.Full report here
