Guess Bill Finch and Chief Gaudett didn’t buy the right gun.
I heard five shots on the audio of the store video. One important detail is it happened near the front of 1149 Stratford Avenue. Why is this an important detail? Lennie, go to my Facebook page and feel free to post the answer.
How could this happen? I thought they bought all the guns!!!
Bridgeport is getting better and crime is at a 40-year low.
Thank G-d he is in stable condition. Thoughts and prayers for the family and victim for a speedy recovery. People are just getting insane. I expect this was just another senseless gang-related shooting. Such disrespect for life.
See this, Steven A. Then go back to Lennie’s posting of the news article. Then do your best to convince us that critical information was not conveniently excluded:

Isn’t this the location of the store Ganim claims he got the store owner to reduce his hours?
You, like the Finch administration, can spin this like you just did. The shooting happened on Sixth Street and Stratford Avenue in front of the Police Post away from the store. The store video doesn’t show much of the actual shooting, but you can hear five shots. Newfield and Stratford is across the Street and it’s where Newfield Avenue starts from Stratford Avenue. Be aware if any shooting happens there again, they can use Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Blvd. to make it sound like it happened in a different location–just like they did here. The store owner has done all he can to deal with the problems outside. While he has many cameras there, I don’t see a single one in the Police Post location and haven’t seen the doors opened in a long time. Why in hell blame the store or the owner, the shooting happened about 15 minutes after the store re-opened for the day.
Listen Joel, you like to think you know everything and that could not be further from the truth. I am well acquainted with Stratford and Newfield and all of the Avenue. I wrote about the location the news reported the shooting was at. I am not spinning for anyone. Go find someone else to fuck with.
Joe was taking a day off from his part-time job as crime-fighting superhero: Ganim Man. His suit of armor is made out of hundred-dollar bills left over from the Kaspar and Lenocci days. His secret weapon is a mood gun that shoots manure.
