Daniels: I Need You – Makes Pitch For Mayoralty At Amp Fundraiser

Flanked by his onetime boss, former Mayor Bill Finch, a fired up Lamond Daniels hit on a number of themes Tuesday night during a fundraiser at the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater, framing himself the reform alternative as a petitioning candidate for mayor Nov. 7.

Daniels served in the Finch administration as director of Neighborhood Initiatives. The licensed social worker now serves in a key administrative role for the City of Norwalk.

Daniels is trying to stitch together money to make his case in the finals days of the campaign. Mayor Joe Ganim will be on the Democratic line, David Herz the Republican and John Gomes the Bridgeport Independent Party.
