This Way For A Lease

Bradley banner
Dennis Bradley banner hangs on law office building.

It’s always titillating when a candidate for public office is featured next to a for sale sign or in the case of State Senate hopeful Dennis Bradley a “for lease” sign. Bradley’s law office is located next to the Klein Memorial on Fairfield Avenue. He’s hoping to add a State Senate office in Hartford to his law office.

The Board of Education chair is challenging incumbent Ed Gomes in an August primary. The party endorsement will take place in May. Meanwhile both candidates are dialing for dollars to qualify for Connecticut’s Citizens Election Program of publicly funded races that would allow them to spend about $100,000.

So if you’re in the mood to lease office space or a candidate, there’s always 853 Fairfield Avenue.

  1. Nice touch, Dennis. Bars on the windows. That’s one way to fight crime. I guess this is the forward-thinking crime prevention and reform we can expect from Mr. Bradley if he ever makes it to Hartford.

  2. It would be nice if Lennie posted precinct results for the Republican primary tomorrow. He always just posts the Democratic results precinct level. I’m voting for Donald Trump tomorrow.

    1. Come on Lennie, you bastard you.
Precinct results for the Republican Presidential Primary, damn it!!!
Even if no one votes for anybody but the Donald.
And will you be doing exit interviews and trends so you can forecast which Republican won Bridgeport before the AP does?

      1. Troll, are you still mad Lennie didn’t post about the 10k who showed up to support Bernie in New Haven??? Half of them will not even vote. The majority of Bernie Sanders supporters are lazy people who want handouts. Socialism does not work. Btw Bernie will lose New Haven like he does most big cities.

      1. The best part is the required political attribution at the bottom of the banner. It reads as follows:

“Approved and paid for by Bradley for State Senate Treasurer: Carolyn Vermont”

I didn’t know we have a state official entitled “State Senate Treasurer.” What about a comma Mr. Dradley? What’s the colon for?

By the way, last week he showed up too late for the public hearing on the BOE Budget to offer testimony. He then left early and when two parents asked him where he was going he responded with “I’m going to take some headshots.” I heard it with my own ears.

Although he promised Ben he would attend the Teaching and Learning Committee on that very night; he failed to show up on Thursday. He did not text, email or call Ben Walker to let him know he would not be attending.

We sat there for 30 minutes with seven staff members and the transcriber before Ben had to cancel the meeting.

Dennis has now missed three of the four T&L Committee meetings and he arrived late to the one he did attend. Two of the four meetings could not be held because we lacked a quorum.

  3. D.B. stands for more than just Dennis Bradley. What’s the word I’m looking for? Hmmm, let’s see, you add water, vinegar and a little bit of lemon for flavor and what do you get, D**** B**.
