The City Clerk’s Office has updated the schedule of meetings for the City Council’s Budget and Appropriations Committee:
The attached Budget Meeting schedule has been revised to include the following changes:
Public Facilities for Tuesday, April 16, 2013 location change from Legislative Services Office to Wheeler Rooms.
Registrar of Voters moved from April 23, 2013 to April 24, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. and location change from Legislative Services Office to Wheeler Rooms.
Labor Relations/Civil Service/Benefits moved from April 30, 2013 to April 25, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.
Library/City Attorney moved from April 25, 2013 to April 30, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.
OPM/CAO for Monday, April 29, 2013 location change from Legislative Services Office to Wheeler Rooms.
General Budget and Capital Plan Discussion for Wednesday, May 1, 2013 location change from Legislative Services Office to Wheeler Rooms.
Board of Education has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 2, 2013 in the Legislative Services Office.
There are no other changes to the schedule at this time.
These idiots can’t get their meeting location correct. The original schedule called for most of the B & A meetings to be held in the Wheeler room. Then some brain surgeon on the B & A decided to hold these meetings in a phone booth aka legislative offices, now we are back for some meetings at the Wheeler room. I now have three different schedules I need to check before I go to a meeting. Morons pure and simple.
*** Does the revised or old budget meetings schedule really matter? (NO!) That’s why it’s being held in the council’s legislative office to keep the public attendance low because the B&A really doesn’t have a major clue on what to do other than what Mr. Sherwood recommends! Transparency works when there’s some type of dialog between the B&A committee, Mayor’s office and the public attending, not a cut and dry one-way proposed budget taxpayers are stuck with! *** VOTE NO CONTEST AND GIVE IT BACK ALREADY ***
