Update for those in Bridgeport: 1) Important for everyone to stay off the roads. Governor has closed all roads. 2) Our fire and police departments are NOT able to get to many people right now. So don’t use candles or anything else that will risk a fire. 3) Public Facilities is concentrating all its efforts on clearing the snow emergency streets, especially the roads to the hospitals. That is why most of the side streets are not being plowed. They will get to everyone eventually. If folks have an emergency they should call 911. If they have any other questions they should call 203 576-1311. Spread the word.

This is The Storm before The Calm. Rugged Individuals are making a comeback. If you want to see manufacturing–minus the factories–return to Bridgeport, you better get one of these and build the roadmap everybody needs. Hero status awaits.

I have no problem staying off the roads. I live in Bridgeport. I can’t even see my road. And I live near the mayor.

Tom you are spouting the same thing the mayor and Applebee have been saying. It’s pure and utter bullshit. Tom, are you ever going to come up with your own ideas? Are you always going to be the waterboy for Finch?
If you think what the city did during this storm was right then you are dumber than dirt. It’s now 6:45pm, a full 24 hrs since we saw a plow. That is just wrong and cannot be covered by any bullshit excuse.
