  1. Just great an ultra liberal interviewer and a disgraced FBI chief. This guy was doing his damnedest to protect Hillary Clinton and the election. He noticed the length of Trumps tie but he did not know what his number 2 Andrew McCabe was hiding or what he was doing to help his wife get elected in Virginia. This guy is typical FBI and no he is selling his soul. Screw him

    1. None of what you wrote changes the fact that Dinald Trump will be impeached and removed from office by the Congress elected in November. Finally, an end to Republicanism is in sight.

  2. Hey Andy,

James Comey leaked a memo documenting a private conversation with Donald Trump when the latter gave his pitch that “Michael Flynn is a good man…” Comey did it knowing the Department of Justice would appoint Special Counsel to investigate Der Trumpenstein for conspiracy with a hostile foreign power, obstruction of justice, money laundering and other crimes. It worked. Robert Mueller’s investigation is steaming ahead at full tilt:

“On April 9, 2018, the FBI raided Cohen’s office at the law firm of Squire Patton Boggs, his home, and his hotel room in the Loews Regency Hotel in New York City, pursuant to a federal search warrant. The warrant was obtained by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, whose public corruption unit is conducting an investigation. Seeking the warrant required high-level approval from the Department of Justice. The Interim U.S. Attorney, Geoffrey Berman, was recused. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray – both of whom are Trump appointees – had supervisory roles. The FBI obtained the warrant after a referral from Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections, although underlying reasons for the raid were not revealed.

“Following the raid, Squire Patton Boggs ended its formal working relationship with Cohen.

“Agents seized emails, tax records, business records, and other matter related to several topics, including payments made by Cohen to Stormy Daniels, and records related to Trump’s Access Hollywood controversy. Recordings of phone conversations Cohen made were also obtained. According to Stormy Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti and civil rights attorney Lisa Bloom, some of the recordings may have included participants located in California, which would make the recordings illegal, as California is a ‘two party consent’ state.

“The search included the seizure of materials normally protected by attorney-client privilege, which is subject to a crime-fraud exception if a crime is suspected. However, some legal scholars opined that Trump’s denial that he had knowledge of the Daniels payment, combined with denials by Cohen and his lawyer David Schwartz, meant both sides had effectively said the matter did not involve attorney-client communications. The search warrant itself has been sealed, making it unavailable to the public. The FBI also sought documents pertaining to Cohen’s ownership of taxi medallions. Cohen’s taxi fleet is operated by Gene Freidman, who is facing legal trouble for alleged tax evasion.

“Following the raid, Squire Patton Boggs ended its formal working relationship with Cohen.”

      1. Well thank God and Christ for an independent judicial branch. Those Congressional committees were chaired by careerist Republican hacks. Did you really expect them to find anything that would embarrass the GOP and the self-interested gasbag taking up space in the oval office? Donald Trump’s administration is obsessed with optics and public appearances, not what is best for the people of the United States of America, not even old tosspots like you. Trump is going down, his disgrace will force his resignation.

Ivnka is now ambassador to Peru even though she is not qualified to foster good ill. Maybe she’s looking for a new market for her clothing line. Marshall’s and TJ Maxx can’t give her shit away.

  3. All the controversy swirling about Trump’s administration and he heads to Mar-A-Lago for a week of golf. Way to make America great again.

      1. For all your claims that Mueller’s investigation has turned up nothing Trump is more than a little nervous. Rosenstein and Wray, both Trump appointees to the DOJ and the FBI respectively, signed off on the warrent to search Michael Cohen’s home, office and hotel suite. Your draft dodging hero is not making America great, he’s acting as if he’s guilty and has something to hide. Attorney-client privilege doesn’t attach here, you fucking moron. Mueller’s office invoked an exception and a federal judge granted it.

You’re completely and utterly ignorant of criminal law. All the warrents are sealed to prevent the defendants from destroying evidence, tampering with witnesses and otherwise using any means to interfer with the prosecution’s case.

You’re an ignorant urban hillbilly. Go crawl under a rock.

          1. Andy is in a basket all to himself, Ron. Can’t defend the orange horror so he resorts to insults and name calling, just like his antihero Donald Trump. James Comey, as a career prosecutor that swore to uphold the law, has credibility. All Trump can do is call him a “slimeball.” About what you’d expect from a man whose gteatest academic achievement was winning a bowling trophy.

You call Trump a draft dodger which branch of the service were you in and boy scouts doe not count dumb ass

          0
          1. We’re not talking about arrest warrents, DUMB ASS. I was a conscientious objector in the ’70s. At that point military service was not mandatory. The Pentagon cancelled the draft before then because they had too mny mental defectives like you.

          2. Derek, remember 45 did serve in the military, of that’s right, that was a military high school as a play soldier.

          3. Just as I thought a chickenshit you could have applied for a non combat role. Just another big mouth with no balls

          1. His behavior, Andy. Must be oarnoid as hell. According to a SCOTUS decision issued in 1966 all criminal defendants have the right to remain silent. If Mr. Trump had any understanding of the law he wouldn’t spend the morning rush hour embarrassing himself on Twitter.

By the way, Hillary Clinton has NOTHING to do with Mueller’s investigation, in spite of the drivel you hear on Breitbart News.

  4. The New York Times is reporting Trump’s advisors believe the Michael Cohen investigation is a greater threat that Mueller’s probe. That’s telling. Cohen has been the Trump family’s “fixer” for a good long time.

  5. As a successor to Rudy Giuliani in the role of U.S. attorney in the Southern District (not a job handed out to any law school graduate) Comey would give a little speech to new attorneys in the office about the awesome power they were about to wield: the fact they would rise in court, speak as representatives of the United States, and be believed.

That power, Comey told them, was neither coincidence nor the product of their hard work as individual lawyers.

“I told them it was a reservoir of trust and credibility built for you and filled for you by people you never knew, by those who are long gone. A reservoir that makes possible so much of the good that is done by the institutions you serve,” he wrote. “I would explain to these bright young lawyers that, like all great gifts, this one comes with a responsibility, a solemn obligation to guard and protect that reservoir and pass it on to those who follow as full as you received it, and maybe even fuller.”

  6. One of President Trump’s former attorneys said he urged the president not to trust Michael Cohen to fully protect him, and warned that Cohen would eventually cooperate with federal prosecutors.

The attorney, Jay Goldberg, told the Wall Street Journal that he spoke to Trump on the phone last Friday. In that call, he reportedly told Trump that on a scale of 1 to 100, where 100 represents full protection of the president, Cohen “isn’t even a 1.”

“Michael will never stand up [for you],” Goldberg said he told Trump.
