  1. C’mon Steve Choi, if your president paid Federal Taxes there might be little of no reason to raise the cost of tuition. In fact how many rich Republican donor’s are doing the same thing as your president, Not Paying Federal Taxes?

Steve Choi, when you are outraged and appalled by the President of the United States is not paying Federal Taxes, then and only then should anyone care or take seriously about your stand on this issue or any other!

  2. More nonsense from Steve Choi.
The state legislature can’t mandate refunds to students after the fact.
State Taxpayers shouldn’t have to eat this expense when we are already subsidizing public college/university students.
Steve is supposed to be the finance guru, but this makes no sense.
As it is, all 2020 graduates of CT high Schools are entitled to two FREE years at Connecticut Community Colleges…Steve wants to give refunds for past attendees.
We all suffered from the Pandemic, the students aren’t a special class. Their student loans are not currently accruing interest. Many colleges have offered credit and/or refunds for housing and meals.
Yes some classes switched from live to on-line, but the schools never charged less to attend an on-line section of the course. Professors/instructors still had to be paid, whether or not the student saw them face to face. The work was graded and students were tested. Credits awarded count towards degree requirements.
This drivel will not attract votes, how do you propose to fix the Covid-economy Steve?

BTW>>>>>>I hear congratulations are in order, I ran into Steve’s mother this past week and she informed me that Steve is now the proud father of twins.
