Gomes Meet And Greet

From Democratic mayoral candidate John Gomes:

I’m writing to invite you to a meet and greet as my campaign for Mayor kicks into high gear for the September 13th primary. I am hoping to see you at Fortuna’s Italian Deli on 3896 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT between 5:30 and 7:30 pm on Thursday, July 14th. Fortuna’s has a longstanding tradition of excellent food and service in Bridgeport’s North End.

Suggested contributions are $20, and if you are unable to attend but would like to help our historic campaign for Mayor, please click here to contribute through our secure online contribution link.

I’m running for Mayor of Bridgeport because I believe that government must work hard to earn the trust of the people. Everybody I speak with says city government is broken and that we must change the way the city works. I’ll make improving education, creating good jobs and transparency at City Hall as my top priorities.

People in Bridgeport are hungry for a new direction and I’m the only candidate who can deliver. I’ve visited hundreds of businesses and talked to thousands of residents. There is real excitement for this campaign. We can win. But I need your help.

To ensure victory, we need the resources to get our message out.

You can also visit my website at www.JohnMGomes.com to make a secure contribution by clicking on the Contribute link. If you prefer to contribute by check, please make it payable to John M. Gomes for Mayor and mail your contribution to: John M. Gomes for Mayor, 1259 Park Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06604

Thank you for your consideration and I hope to see you at Fortuna’s on July 14th!

  1. Go Meet and Greet MJF. Tell her you are withdrawing from the primary. She will then take you on as her CAO and the City of Bridgeport will have two highly skilled and honorable people in City Hall. She is going to win. You are not. Don’t take votes away from her.

  2. yahooy, I think Mary-Jane Foster should give Joe Ganim a call and arrange a meeting. Why wait until he jumps in? If he isn’t going to run, then the chance of a Joe Ganim endorsement is more likely. Gomes can do the same. That scream you just heard was Carolanne Curry. Not only does Joe Ganim have the best chance to beat Finch, he has a coattail strong enough for others on his under-ticket to knock off some council members. The first one I’d “Meet and Greet” is Joe Ganim.
