Examine Tuesday’s Election Results

November 11th, 2016 · 3 Comments · City Politics, National Politics, News and Events, State Politics

The Connecticut Secretary of the State’s website is now loaded with statistics from Tuesday’s presidential election, see here. For readers who enjoy keeping score–always nice to examine who ran ahead of others for bragging rights–we’ve shared some numbers below, but some comparisons are difficult due to neighborhood demographic differences. The best comparisons are citywide or by precinct. Hillary Clinton received 81 percent of the vote in the city. The citywide percentage turnout was 56 percent, four points ahead of 2012, the last presidential cycle.
