  1. Will they point out a “line item” on all of “the peoples” money that have gone to attorneys to represent the corrupt city officials that have been- AND ARE under investigation? Not to mention all the pending lawsuits as a result of inept and corrupt governance! I’ll bet it’s a nice chunk of cash that could have gone to much better use… for the people. Also not to mention the ongoing and future costs for same.
    Cheers!!

I believe it is in the cost center called Corrupt City Officials line number named Miscellaneous Legal Fees.
If not there look at the very last line in the budget for something called Everything Else.
It should be a very large budgeted amount.
    Good luck. 🍀

  3. Here is a solution for the pension fight that AJ Perez is waging. Give him a pension equal to that of a Regular patrolman at 50 percent of base pay after 20 years of service. That would be fair since he did put many years in with the department but failed miserably as chief, not to mention all the other “bad” things he did to acquire that job.
Then you must somehow figure out the penalty for the first violator on all of this and that would be Ganim.
What say you Council members? Being that you all are supposed to be concerned with Bridgeport’s wellbeing.

    1. HELL NO FOR BOTH PEREZ AND DUNN. I wonder how many others that police officers didn’t get their pension because of Perez and how many city employees did Dunn got rid of who didn’t get their pensions. How many others are on the City’s payroll who got help from Dunn, you know this senate impeachment trial reminds me of Ganim wanting Perez as his police chief but he didn’t speak those words but everybody knew what Ganim wanted, his old driver and friend who hid wine in his home for Mayor Ganim.

      1. If they feel they have a good case to take his entire pension away then they’ll stick with that stand. You also must understand who “they” are or might be. Lol!!
All I’m saying is the offer that I suggested may be cheaper in the long run and take the wind out of his sails in his case for the full pension at the chiefs salary. In the end we’ll see what happens and how much it cost the taxpayers. Ultimately, courts and arbitrators are reticent to “punish” people in the state of Connecticut. You know that as well as I do Ron.
        Cheers!!!

Ganim: all I favor, aye. Opposed, nay. The ayes have it. Vote so order.
Ganim: I’ll entertain a motion to adjourn.
