Brace Yourself For The Shortest City Council Meeting In History

If you walk into City Council Chambers Monday night inhale deeply, then exhale. The meeting will be over. Historically the shortest council meetings come on the eve of election day. Gander the agenda above.

This will be the last regularly scheduled meeting of the year prior to a new council seated in December. For several council members not seeking reelection this will be their last such as Christina Smith, Pete Spain and Jack Banta. Nessah Smith and Karen Jackson were defeated in Democratic primaries by Maria Pereira and Samia Suliman.
