Fuck, if we could all just see that all of of us seek happiness and avoid pain and suffering, then we may see each other withcompassion and see beyond left or right, black or white or between, rich or poor, etc. Only then, I believe, we will sit down and work together to make a better world for all. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is a United Methodist, and he is also the face of the Trump administration’s widely condemned policy of separating migrant children from their families at the border. In a Friday statement slamming the policy as “a shocking violation of the spirit of the Gospel,” the United Methodist Church registered its dissent to Sessions’ use of the Bible to defend the separations:June 16, 2018

Thursday, Sessions cited Romans 13 to defend the Trump administration’s “zero-tolerance” prosecution policy on illegal immigration. In a speech addressed to his “church friends,” Sessions said:
“I would cite you to the Apostle Paul and his clear and wise command in Romans 13, to obey the laws of the government because God has ordained them for the purpose of order.”
Romans 13 has been cited by Nazi sympathizers and apartheid-enforcers, slave owners and loyalists opposed to the American Revolution.
Conveniently Attorney General Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III forgot to read further down in Romans 13 to Romans 13:11:
11 And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. 14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.
*** There are many past federal laws on the books that are out dated or just not in-forced by the DOJ. Its up to the present “commander & chief’s admin.” & his hand picked sitting A.G to actually order for the implementation of the policy on the books to become active & there for inforced by the DOJ. A “simple order” or “call” from Trump could stop the policy that was not used by the Bush or Obama Admins. in the past but put into effect by Trump & his “good old boy”, Sessions. Trump “voters & supporters” will grab at any straws to justify their “Mosiah’s Actions” weather its right or wrong! Remember, these are desperate people with (no real) practicing religious morals, that feel cheated in life on different levels like politics, personal finances, justice system, taxes, race relations, substance abuse, etc… Only God & them know why, they could allow themselves to support, vote & justify the sideshow snake-oil con-man promises & actions of the “Anti-Christ”, Trump! ***
