OIB Poll: Money Money Money Money … Money!

Or as Ludacris says: “If you ain’t got no money take your broke ass home.” Maybe that’s because all the moolah is going to campaigns.

Bridgeport's Democratic mayoral primary could break records for spending. How important is money in a campaign?

  • Money's important, but not everything. (40%, 38 Votes)
  • Depends how and where it's spent. (28%, 26 Votes)
  • It's all about the money honey. (20%, 19 Votes)
  • Time for public financing in municipal races. (12%, 11 Votes)

Total Voters: 94

  1. I think we can see from the people we have in office at the local and state levels (speaking from a Connecticut vantage point), as well as the national levels, when the totally politically legless candidates (with or without money) have been weeded out, it is all about money in American politics.
