  1. Readers of Only in Bridgeport, (repeating an earlier post, possibly worthy in this place),
For the past nine years we have seen and heard one man with a citizen’s right to “free speech” so distort, soil and frankly trash this democratic principle that it has lowered public communication norms to imitate a “limbo contest”, as in “How low can you go?” Too far, obviously, but more righteous and caring messages need to respond and question. The ‘jokes’ are not funny. They are absurd and de-humanizing. Where are the challengers? Where are your voices to combat the ‘would-be’ autocrat who tells us about his plans, not just ‘concepts’, for being a dictator on his first day. Are we ready for a dictator? Have you recently reflected upon the rights you enjoy every day? I have read the Bill of Rights, again.

I hope that you cast an informed vote by the close of balloting on November 5, 2024 for each candidate listed as well as the ‘election’ issue question. Likely, we will have to wait for results from far and perhaps, near to be assembled and reported. I have no major fears about the process. It has been under close oversight of late in state after state. The courts seem ready to deal with genuine or threatening allegations that are backed by evidence. Whimsical charges, those not based on facts and reality, from folks without identity or standing will be likely dismissed.

When the dust settles we will likely hear more “good news” from Kamala Harris about our United States. The opposing candidate will be able to contemplate his future in the legal and financial systems without the burden of campaigning that should have included debating with policy statements and a democratic political philsophy rather than trashing a political party from the inside through fear, dark money and operations that intimidate.

If that is what happens, we will have dodged a serious challenge to our democratic system, to our civic practices, and the way we participate in the UNITED States. The power will be in the hands of the people where oversight can become more durable. That promises a more worthy future for family legacies. Time will tell.

  2. Jesus, Political. I thought CT Republicans “rigging” its elections for Democrat Lamont was telling when they tapped Bob over Mark. Then Mark gave up his political career to join Lamont in his administration to give Lamont a second term, but this shit retard, though effective. 🤣

The R’s “Trump” enjoyed marginal support from the average Latinos/PR over the Dominant support of minority groups, like the black vote who votes D in the 90+ % range. So, to have someone insult that Latino/PR on his Grand Rally doesn’t make too much sense in that regard. I’m wondering if that was one of those “I got your back moments”

Taste the movement, a breath of fresh air, Gen Now shows why Latinos gravitate to the Republican party. Those white liberals tend to show their wolf’s 🐺tail. I mean that vote video shows how the Latinos are a stepchild in the Rich White Liberal political game. Three black women, one white rich mama/banker bear 🐻, and a split-second cameo for that Latina. 🤣

  3. As I taking some time here to enjoy the freak show called of American Politics. I am saddened by the horrors of humanity or lack of humanity, seen and unseen, expressed and unexpressed. What took place in Syria, perhaps pales, in comparison to Hamas/Gaza. Yet no CC resolution, public outrages, if my my memory serves me.

Speaking of observation and back to physicising. 🤣

Quick question fellow physicisers, Thoughts/conscience are date/element of particles on the quantum level realm that can’t be destroyed, right?

So, God, being the super-computer/creator, controls the “matrix” in which the universe 🌌 is in a 4-dimensional space rotating in a bubble bath of infinity Space, Space. 🙃

It can be expressed as the outer edge of our bubble/universe where light doesn’t escape at the end of time and travels in the fourth dimension of time and reconstituted at the beginning of time/Big Bang.

So, to the creator of our rotation “matrix” universe 🌌 where thoughts were constructed will be disassembled at the end of its time and reassembled in another lesser life form. Buddha may have been on to something. Thought now without a period to contemplate in the timeless room why they didn’t reach Nirvana/Heaven. Though some souls/thoughts will not reconstructed/destroyed. Or not, Just some thoughts. These shrooms are delicious.

    What say you physicisers.? 🙂

I depart with the Prophet, PS Beijing still waiting on those pandas. 🤣

    1. Thoughts, not without, a period to contemplation in the timeless room if enteral infinity as to why they didn’t reach Nirvana/Heaven.

However, some souls/thoughts/information data will not be reconstructed and resembled but destroyed at the will of the creator/keyboarder of our universal “matrix” Or not just some thoughts, time will tell.

      These shrooms are delicious. js

  4. To be fair, and on a happier note, I believe fellow physiciser Hawkman physicisted that date/quantum elements can be destroyed. 🤣

Back to the freak show called American Politics. For better or worse I am sure that PR “joke” was staged. I don’t want to peel that onion, besides appealing to emotional base votings. But for the intellect to paraded around a person in a wheelchair who can’t move or speak to stage a scientific possibility is, SMH

I say that because I am that guy who said the PR “joke” was placed there to support Trump’s run.
I can’t see Hawkman manipulating a computer with a twitch. Now is that computation was wired into his brain relaying electrical neurons that perhaps. But I don’t think so. Shit by the end he didn’t even have a twitch. LMAO 🤣

  6. BTW people do we condemn Biden for calling people who support “garbage”

or is Biden calling PRs who support Trump Garbage, which would be OK.

Can’t see the benefit for Biden to help Kamala to do what was done at the Trump Rally by that dude that caused a national condemnation, including this trend,

    What say you OIB?

I think the honest liar (Trump) called it that Biden/inside supporters/keyboarders didn’t like Kamala at their debate. I can see why. 🤣

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6-UC8yr0Aw

What a cognitive, loss in four years. Now I see Giuliani’s point. The sad part of all of this is there’s more condemnation outcry about Trump for a poor joke that a dude said at his Rally then almost getting his head blown off,

Who’s/what coded side identifies with the Glasses, thing? I think Giuliani was expressing something. good luck people/humanity. JML any thoughts

  7. Wow. An op-ed lacking a real argument — or any pretense at one based on anything observable, much less definable in logical terms — printed in a pretentious rag catering to greed, avarice, and white supremacy nurtured by the 1%! I’d be a lot more worried about Trump if a real-issue, real-people newspaper were somehow, similarly inclined (or should I say “slanted”).

Come on Denis. You’re too smart to keep lying to yourself and drinking the $Kool Aid$ from the $Kool-Aid$ class… Trump is toasted garbage on his way to Riker’s Island — or Moscow. Embrace Harris as your POTUS for the next 8 years. (She’ll probably give you a nice tax return!)

    1. Jeff,
Starting to think you might have a reading comprehension problem.

Did you read the Baker WSJ opinion? He describes the reasons why so many are opposed to Trump and at the same time, blames the Dem’s for a vacuous, empty alternative. Hard to disagree with either description.

You consider the WSJ a pretentious rag catering to greed, avarice and white supremacy, nurtured by the 1%? Seems a bit extreme. Just what do you consider a real-issue, real people newspaper? Must it agree with you to be of any value?

FYI, I subscribe and read regularly the WSJ, NY Post, CTPost, New London Day and the Greenwich Times.. Additionally I read many on-line opinion pieces and news articles as well . Agree and disagree with their stances regularly.

Living in Bridgeport the past 38 years, sending four kids through college and out into the workforce, working in B2B trade media with the last 25 years as a small business owner, my opinions are the result of many experiences..

I don’t have an inflated opinion of myself and never cared much for koolaid. If Harris becomes President for the next eight years, I hope she does far more than what her campaign foreshadows.
However I would appreciate a nice tax return.

  8. My reading comprehension always tested high on all measures — academic and intellectual…. Not worried about mistakes in my interpretation…The article was untrue, vacuous propaganda that could have been written the semi-literate, babbling Republican POTUS candidate himself. Harris has been abundantly clear, logical, and consistent in her many detailed policy positions and her overall, forward-thinking plan for the country. Only an exclusive diet of low-brow, right-wing media bs could comport the WSJ article to a level of “reasonable,” much less useful as argument, in evaluating POTUS-candidates fitness.

Sorry. The bizarre, dangerous, destructive, fallacious idiocy of Trump and his campaign — and especially the right-wing media coverage of the latter — is forcing reasonable Americans to gag… (The WSJ has chosen to abandon objectivity in favor of what its reader$ want to hear and want it to put out as propaganda. That makes it a de facto “rag.” Detoxify your brain from the $Kool Aid$ and read the NYT and WP, and watch a little MSNBC and CNN before the election…)
