This important conversation will focus on domestic violence, available resources and support, and the work of the Bridgeport Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit to support victims and families in our community.
We’ll also share details about the 2026 Domestic Violence Vigil, taking place on Tuesday, October 20 at 12:00 PM at Seaside Park.

I know you people love your words, but “kick off” Domestic Violence Awareness Month, IDK?
While it’s more than fair to say that domestic violence is universal, we tend to soften the words. Perhaps by extension of design, we dilute the remedy: “domestic” violence awareness month really means men’s violence against women awareness month.
I mean, considering “Logical,” it has to be females taking part in this PSA
Speaking of awareness months. We are in the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Let’s not forget. The Spanish Jew, Columbus, is part of that Hispanic cultural history. They to remember that as you play your racial, racist, anti-American political identity game, particularly your white racism/Repulican as the “white” Italians celebrate their heritage, AKA Columbus Day.
