Phil Kuchma was looking for an edge over the competition to attract young professionals to his newest apartment, so he turned to the University of Bridgeport.
On Friday, Kuchma, owner of the eponymous development company in Bridgeport, sat in the Bijou theater with more than 130 people listening to six teams of designers from UB’s Shintaro Akatsu School of Design pitch concepts on modern apartment living.
