Shays Files Paperwork To Wage Primary Against Linda McMahon

Today the Shays for United States Senate campaign announced that Christopher Shays filed his paperwork with the Secretary of the State for the Connecticut Republican primary.

Christopher Shays released the following statement.

“As a result of the Republican state convention on Friday, I qualified to be a candidate for the United States Senate in the Republican primary on Tuesday, August 14th. Today I made it official and filed the necessary paperwork to be in the race.

I’m running for the United States Senate to restore the promise of America: full employment, better jobs, rising incomes, 4% sustained economic growth, prosperity. Americans know a better future is their birth right.”
