Registered Voter total less than 60,000 in City of Bridgeport per Registrar ballot effort this year.
My rough approximation of registered citizens who exercised their actual right to vote is 5400 individuals. Incremental improvement of folks paying attention to the issue of “informed representation”, or not? Still in the fewer than 1 person in 10 category.
Nothing to cheer about in the same way as Virginia, New Jersey, California, Pennsylvania, and New York City results.
Where are the Charter question results, for instance? We will write more when the final results are available to be posted.
Visit URSA Cafe and Gallery on Saturday at 9 am for a Casual Civics Gathering. There is CIVICS work in which to participate. All are welcome. Time will tell.
