Mark Bradley, a Democratic candidate for Bridgeport Judge of Probate, has voted egregiously in multiple city elections since 2018 while also simultaneously casting ballots in the state of Massachusetts as a registered Republican, according to records provided by respective election officials.
Court records also show that he has established a clear residency in Massachusetts under his own signature while also enrolled in the state of Massachusetts healthcare program. His children also attend school in Massachusetts.
While voting in Bridgeport multiple times over the past eight years, the start of which was on behalf of his brother, former State Senator Dennis Bradley, Mark Bradley also did not register a motor vehicle in Bridgeport until it coincided recently with his formal candidacy for judge of probate, avoiding car taxes paid to the city. He’s using his family law office in Bridgeport as voting address on Fairfield Avenue. The family also has a law office in Massachusetts.
Dennis Bradley was recently convicted by a federal jury in New Haven on six counts of wire fraud connected to his 2018 run for the state legislature. The charges cost him his senate seat in a 2022 primary loss to Herron Gaston.
It’s illegal to claim a domicile in two locations for the purpose of voting. One person, one vote is how it works. Two locations, two votes, is a different story. It’s also illegal to vote in more than one state, or jurisdiction, electorally as well as maintaining dual registration with the intent to vote twice.
You are only allowed one legal voting residence at a time — the place you consider your true home, intend to stay, where you live, pay taxes, utilities. Mark Bradley has also listed a family-owned dwelling on Clinton Avenue as address for recent car registration.
According voter history files, Bradley voted in both the 2018 Bridgeport Democratic primary and general election with his brother on both ballots. In 2018, he also voted in Massachusetts general election as a Republican. In 2022 he voted in the Democratic primary and also in the Massachusetts 2022 general election.
For eight years he’s maintained dual voter registration in two states.

This comes as Bradley prepares for his first fundraiser in his challenge of long-time Democratic Judge of Probate incumbent Paul Ganim. The party endorsement will take place in about four weeks in advance of a potential August primary.
Mark Bradley posted this on his Facebook page:
I am excited to officially announce my campaign for Probate Judge in Bridgeport, CT. We are facing a very important race where the people will be able to decide if they want an honest, respectable and hard working Judge who will be working with the People and not against the People. I am tired of a Probate Court that is filled with politics and that does not help its residents. Too many children are being wrongfully deported, too many families are losing their homes, and too many residents are not prepared to deal with issues after a loved one has passed on. I am a son of immigrant parents and I have dedicated my life to service and I look forward to continue to serve in Bridgeport and wherever my service is required, whether in the courtroom or outside. I am the man of the people!
Man of the people was also the battle cry of his brother Dennis.
This residency and voter registration news will certainly reverberate among city and state political insiders and electors.

Ironically, as a Bridgeport judge of probate candidate, Mark Bradley is also in the throes of a probate imbroglio involving a custody and child-support matter involving his young daughter. His children also attend school in Massachusetts.
As part of a court requirement Mark Bradley, in March of 2023, signature certified his address as 671 River Street in Winchendon, Massachusetts. Six months later he voted in the Democratic primary in Bridgeport.
OIB has reached out to Mark Bradley for comment.
