Just before 11pm Friday night Bridgeport Police Officers on routine patrol discovered a fire at 803 Noble Avenue. They immediately radioed for the fire department and proceeded to rush in and rescue a number of tenants inside the building. Witness Michael Martinez told us it was crazy seeing the fire just over the police officers’ heads as they ran. One officer did receive smoke inhalation and was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital for treatment. He is expected to be okay. There were no other reports of any other injuries.
