A hotly contested August Democratic primary that ended up in litigation and produced a court-ordered redo that proved favorable for Marcus Brown will send the city councilman to the state legislature representing the predominately North End 127th State House District, according to unofficial returns.
Brown defeated incumbent Jack Hennessy, his primary opponent, and Republican Anthony Puccio, by large margins.
