Malloy, Stafstrom Tour City Plant

Governor Malloy, left, with State Rep. Steve Stafstrom for tour of city pump supplier.

Governor Dan Malloy joined State Rep. Steve Stafstrom for a tour of Phillips Fuel Systems, a successful legacy of the late City Councilman and school board member Pat Crossin. From State Rep. Steve Stafstrom:

Great to join Office of Governor Dannel P. Malloy at Phillips Fuel Systems (Friday) to talk about manufacturing in Connecticut. Phillips is a family owned business that is exporting world class backup generator fuel pumps around the world, including to nearly every US Embassy, from right here in Bridgeport’s West End. They are growing and we are committed to helping them hire and expand their business locally. High tech precision manufactures large and small are providing good jobs and supporting middle class families throughout the State. We in State government need to continue to highlight their success and support their growth.

  1. This is especially bittersweet for me because I watched Pat Crossin work tirelessly to build this business. Through every bout of cancer, he kept going, right to the end. He was special and for those of us who had the privilege of knowing him and serving with him, this, among so many other endeavors, is his legacy.
