From the Lamont campaign:
Governor Ned Lamont announced that his campaign will be opening several campaign headquarters in communities across Connecticut, expanding its statewide organizing operation ahead of the Tuesday, August 11 Democratic primary.
The new offices will serve as hubs for field staff, volunteers, phone bankers, and canvassers as the campaign continues building momentum in the final weeks before primary day.
“This campaign is all about Connecticut–every town, every neighborhood, every family–and how we’re working hard to build a better future for everyone,” Governor Lamont said. “We’re opening field offices because democracy works best when people connect face to face. We’ll be working day and night to reach out to voters to listen to their concerns and share our vision for a stronger, safer, more affordable Connecticut together. The momentum is real, and it’s growing every day. If you believe in where we’re headed, come be a part of it. Let’s keep moving Connecticut forward.”
The campaign’s new headquarters locations are:
Bridgeport — 1050 Brooklawn Ave
Danbury — 161 Main St
Hartford — 30 Arbor St
New Britain — 19 Basset St
New Haven – 1315 Whalley Ave
Groton — 774 Long Hill Rd
Stamford — 1250 Summer St, Suite 307
Torrington — 45 Water St
Waterbury — 170 Grand St
The campaign hosts weekly phonebanks and canvassing outreach events and volunteers, phone bankers, and canvassers are welcome at all locations. Those interested in getting involved can sign up at www.nedlamont.com/get-involved.
The headquarters expansion reflects the campaign’s growing organizing operation as it works to turn out Democratic primary voters across the state. With the August 11 primary approaching, the Lamont campaign is mobilizing supporters in every corner of Connecticut, from Fairfield County to the Naugatuck Valley to the Northwest Corner.
