Jesus, As we reflect on the death/passing of a man that was truly universal in his love for the Port. My condolences, thoughts, prayers, and spirit to his family and friends. It’s an immense loss. Jay the Iceman gave the Port hope, compassion, love, and solitude. He signified the best of the Port, all that it was, is and will be.
Chris, we know that the statue of Columbus not going to make a return to the Port, Perhaps a more fitting monument/tribute to the Italians and the people of the Port is one that will commemorate Jay, the IceMan.
