WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 5, 2011

WHEN: 10:00 a.m.: Lieutenant-Governor Nancy Wyman takes the oath of office inside the Senate Chamber. Governor-Elect Malloy will administer the oath of office to Lieutenant Governor-Elect Wyman.

WHERE: Connecticut Senate Chamber

WHEN: 1:00 p.m.: Inaugural Parade begins at the Arch, goes down Trinity Street, Capitol Avenue and ends in front of the Armory.

WHERE: Downtown Hartford

WHEN: 2:00 p.m.: Governor-Elect Dan Malloy takes the oath of office inside the Armory. Gerald Fox, Jr., Probate Judge of Stamford, will administer the oath of office to Governor-Elect Malloy.

WHERE: Hartford Armory

WHEN: 3:00 p.m.: Governor Malloy, Lieutenant Governor Wyman, family, Constitutional Officers walk outside to receive the traditional Ruffles & Flourishes, 19-gun salute, and fly-over.

WHERE: Outside of the Hartford Armory

WHEN: 3:15 p.m.: Governor Malloy, with Lieutenant Governor Wyman, will sign a set set of Executive Orders.

WHERE: Governor’s Office, State Capitol

**Due to the extremely tight time frame, TV stations/other media are requested to divide their staff between the Armory and the Governor’s Office.

WHEN: 3:30 p.m.: Governor Malloy addresses a joint session of the Connecticut General Assembly.

WHERE: Connecticut House Chamber

WHEN: 7:30 p.m.: Governor Malloy, Lieutenant Governor Wyman attend the 2011 Inaugural Ball

WHERE: Connecticut Convention Center

THURSDAY, JANUARY 6, 2011

WHEN: Early Afternoon (exact time TBD): Governor Malloy will hold a press availability

WHERE: Connecticut State Capitol

SATURDAY, JANUARY 8, 2011

WHEN: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Governor Malloy and Lieutenant Governor Wyman will hold a meet-and-greet with members of the Connecticut public at the State Capitol. Attendees are asked to bring a canned food item for donation to a local food bank.
