Gen Now Leaders Ponder “Pasta Bilities” On PKN Radio Show, Local Dem Chief Violating Party Rules

Bridgeport Generation Now leaders Gemeem Davis and Callie Heilmann host a weekly Saturday morning show on WPKN that “discusses power and politics in Bridgeport through an anti-corruption, anti-racist, pro-democracy lens.”

Saturday’s program will focus on the Connecticut State Party’s declaration that the local Dem town committee, led by Mario Testa, is violating the rules by failing to post meeting notices and agendas online and hasn’t updated its Facebook page in nearly four years.

See video clip above showing anti-Testa town committee member Maria Pires dressing down Testa at a meeting over the issue.

  1. What benefits or change is expected if the DTC post meeting notices and agendas online and updated its Facebook page? What would this change? What would be gained other than an opportunity to claim an empty victory? If a majority opposition (47 solid) is not reached, the Pasta Bilities are simply out of reach.

The thought of Maria Pires dressing down Testa, gave me the creeps but, I still clicked on the link.
