After his one-hour court appearance on Tuesday, Mayor Joe Ganim stood outside the courthouse with supporters including City Councilwoman Mary McBride-Lee to briefly address the Democratic primary challenge then segued into a general election pitch for Nov. 7.

This is birthday week for the mayor who will celebrate a Friday night fundraiser at Red Line Restorations In Black Rock.

    2. That’s the irony in all of this shit. It is obvious how much progress/growth has come since G2’s return.

      Not just within a Vision of being an entertainment destination, but racially wise, while those in court are invoking the fifth, JML has oddly been quiet on white supremacy. My comrades Ron and Day are speechless. 🙂

Are you calling me out on the subject of ‘white supremacy’ a historically observed fact of life encultured by the existence of slavery in colonial America through the American Revolution to the Civil War with Emancipation and Constitution amendments post Civil War and then the overt and subsequently more secret use of laws, rules, and processes to deny certain citizens their rights? Has ‘white supremacy’ become a term to use instead of race or racism? Do you, RT, believe in the equal dignity of each and every human being and treat all persons with respect as such? Perhaps you can answer that without difficulty. I try to read and understand your entries regularly. Why this question at this time?

          To be fair sometimes I do and don’t believe in equal dignity for every human being and the treatment of all persons with respect.

          You touched on the Catholic church’s exploitation of the youth. Is it fair to say, would I be wrong If I didn’t view them in the same state or quality of being worthy of honor or respect as you? That is the definition of “dignity” Are you equal in that regard?

          It’s possible that soccer isn’t seriously entertained on OIB but to be fair entertainment isn’t equally prescribed. There’s a thing called cricket out there that is taken very seriously beyond IOB.

          As Catholics, we are tough Jesus gave his life for our transgressions/sins and asks for God’s grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Though shouldn’t it be sincere and not just lip service?

          To be fair to Lennie’s OIB, it caters to Port’s contact politics.

    While I have very little doubt Wanda wasn’t transparent and stuffing the box for Gomes/Ricci/Mario. Martinez on the other hand is on the ballot. How does that play out with all the other races? Is it really about a fair honest election and a corruptive AB game? Shouldn’t all races be affected by such behavior/actions? Where do we place care on the integrity of the vote if the other elections stand on the same AB game/ballot. ? It seems personal in nature. Don’t you think Port? Was it done by mistake or purpose?
