This voter is willing to speculate that only a small number of people are willing to answer polls in this political climate, and only a small portion of that number is willing to answer honestly.
Statistically, 50% of people are of average or higher IQ, which means (assuming that this higher-IQ population is all likely to vote) that only the wealthy, assuming that wealth is an indicator of normal or better IQ, or those who delusionally expect to be wealthy, out of this number (10%, total, at best) will be voting for Trump, the rest will vote for Harris. (Trumps enormous, dangerous incompetence and sedition in office rule him out for all intelligent, thinking voters — except those who stand to make $ from his rigged economy… His deranged, hyperbolic babble on the campaign trail can appeal only to those of minimal understanding — modest IQ — who believe that his talk is directed at uplifting the “little guy”…) So that gives Harris 40% of the possible vote, straight up. The other 50% of people will be much less likely to vote, but some of these will vote, and, having swilled the Trump Kool Aid, will be voting for Trump. Let’s say about half of these lower IQ voters, or 25% of possible voters, will vote for Trump, and maybe about 10% will vote for Harris (because she “seems nicer).” So we can deduce that about 35% of possible voters will be voting for Trump and about 50% for Harris.
So it seems that despite what the polls would say, basic logic would indicate that the election goes to Harris, with her proportion of the votes cast being about 59% to Trump’s 41% — or about 60%-40% in round numbers….
On the VP side, Vance can only pull Trump down among those not in the Trump base, and the rational/benign, normal, intelligent Walz can only help Harris — so the VP side does nothing to rebalance the above equation in Trumps favor/against Harris….

But when a dictator or autocratic aspirant shows little daily sign of caring for any human besides himself, then benevolence is beyond expectation. Just about pure power. And democracy, which depends on the people using voice, intelligence, and participation in governance practice, regularly fails in practice.
The events of January 6 may appear to you as a “ridiculous riot” if you merely focus on those few hours covered by video for all. However, when you relate the pre- and post- January 6, planning and follow through by Trump campaign workers and advisors, much of which became known to the broad public during his second impeachment and since, from former Trump enthusiasts, now providing testimony in court cases based on current charges they face.
Perhaps you wish to comment as a long serving Commission member on the number of years of service, or terms, by a Board or Commission member is ideal. How is such service evaluated, if at all, to be in the puclic interest. What forms of training, initial and/or specific, is currently encouraged by the City? Can you explain why so many current Board and Commission members are listed serving expired terms? Time will tell.

Not sure why you bring up Commissions. We had some serious conversations years ago abour the shortcomings. Nothing has really changed. While not excusing, guess it all comes down to One-Party government. Seems the case in Bridgeport, CT and a host of other Blue cities and States.

Success Village “follies” has not been a hoax and is now calling for lots of City attention, including taxpayer revenues, because the counterpart of Fair Rent Commission, called Fair Housing Commission. Time will tell.
The Republican Party used to be just a regressive, “constipated” party in need of a social, ExLax festival. Now it is a (very) low-intelligence, morally bankrupt party that is sure to disband after being thrashed and handed its figurative, microcephalic head on a tin plate on November 5.
