Following Fatal Crash In Florida, City Custodian Seeks Help To Bury Loved Ones

From Shaniece Holmes-Brown, CT Post:

Lloyd Hall, 64, said he needs money to help transport his two deceased grandchildren out of the country following a fatal crash in Florida.

Hall said he and his son, Michael Hall Sr., 44, need to transport the bodies of Michael Anthony Hall Jr., 14, and Imani Andre Ajani Hall, 8, back to Jamaica, where they lived. But he said the trip could cost up to $12,000.

“I need to bury my two grandchildren, but I’m not sure I’ll get the chance to go,” Lloyd Hall said. “If I can’t go, it will be a big disappointment.”

Bridgeport Public Schools recently announced a fundraising effort to help alleviate the burden of the cost. The amount of donations received so far has not been disclosed yet.

School officials said, instead of flowers, donations can be sent in the form of a money order directly to Baker-Isaac Funeral Services, c/o Lloyd Hall, at 985 Stratford Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06607.
