Follow The Artists

From Mayor Finch:

Mark your calendars for Nov. 10-14 — the Bridgeport 2010 Art Trail is back and bigger than ever! Eighteen different venues throughout the City will throw open their doors so visitors can see artists at work, enjoy music, paintings, sculpture and poetry. The event celebrates the diversity of artists and artisans who call the Park City their home.

On Wednesday, Nov. 10, four openings are planned:

• ‘Urban Essence’ opens at The Bridgeport Arts and Cultural Council (BACC), Arcade Building, 1001 Main St., 5 to 7 p.m.

• ’75th Anniversary’ of the Bridgeport History Center, Bridgeport Public Library, 925 Broad St., 5 to 7 p.m.

• ‘Artful Gifts and the Lady Liberty Sculpture cast for the Soldiers and Sailors Monument by Emily Bedard,’ 5:30 to 8 p.m.

• ‘Artists Choose Artists,’ Read’s ArtSpace: 1042 Broad St., 6 to 9 p.m.
