From the St. Patrick’s Day Committee. Parade route here.
On Thursday, March 17, 2016, the Greater Bridgeport Saint Patrick’s Day Celebration Committee will be hosting its 34th Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. We are honored to be led by our 2016 Grand Marshal, Alanna Kabel of Bridgeport. The marchers will travel through downtown Bridgeport, beginning at Harbor Yard up Broad Street to Fairfield Avenue and return to Harbor Yard via Main Street.
Our Souvenir Parade Journal will soon go into production and will be distributed on Thursday, March 17, 2016, during our post-parade luncheon at the Bridgeport Holiday Inn. Our committee would appreciate your consideration of renewing or including your advertisement, tribute or memorial, in our journal.

St. Patrick’s Day is actually amateur hour at all the local bars.
I’ll miss my buddy Tommy Lombard, oh how he loved that St. Patrick’s Day parade, most times we wouldn’t get home until noon the next day. RIP buddy.
*** Everyone loves a parade, especially a parade and holiday-type festivities that include lots of eating and alcohol-type drinking from sunrise ’til sunset, no? And let’s not forget to go to morning mass, wear something green and give up something we like for 40 days of Lent. *** BEST PART OF THIS YEAR’S PARADE IS “NO” MR. GREENJEANS! *** WHOOP ***
Oh it is the biggest mix-up that you have ever seen
My father he was orange and me mother she was green
