From Mayor’s Office:
Due to the forecasted severe weather expected to impact Bridgeport Sunday night into Monday, the City of Bridgeport will suspend all trash and recycling pickup on Monday to ensure the safety of our staff and crews.
Residents are asked NOT to place trash or recycling toters curbside on Monday.
Collections will resume Tuesday, weather permitting, and will operate one day behind schedule for the remainder of the week.Additionally, all City parks — including Beardsley Park, Seaside Park, and neighborhood parks — will be closed Monday and will reopen Tuesday, weather permitting.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of both residents and staff.

I still stand by my assessment, have a robust anti-litter campaign/program.
If you see something, Pick it up. On garbage pick-up day. If every person who brings out their bins just took 5 minutes to pick up the in front of the house. And businesses walked their property, every section of town would look like, the “clearer communities”
The community/council member’s take a more active role within the city and community, property owners and business in keeping their streets parks/community litter free
Many Port Pols have been taking shots at Martinze, but it does not like she was the one trash their community park.
I still have to wonder the why. Kids I get, adults, not so sure, though it can’t get overwhelming. Martinze is a prime example. Though I am not sure what worse, her response or those throwing it back at her. JS
It takes a special kind of character to mock her, foster a less than tactful response on the backdrop of trying to keep her community clean. far from out of the norm in Port political rat’s nest. Lennie words not mine. 🙂
I you don’t want to try to keep you community clean for the community. Do it for the Indian. Sure, you are not going to give back the land. At least you don’t have to make him cry. 🤣
