has set up a donation page to help victims displaced by a house fire on Hanover Street.
Nearly dozens of people were affected by this fire that destroyed 3 houses. We are coming together to raise money for the families that have become victims and help them with furniture, clothing, food, and rent deposits to get a new home. Please if you would like to help this family any amount is appreciated. Thank you. If you are unable to donate please share and maybe the next person would be able to donate. Thank you so much.
See the donation page here.

If I were these people I would hire a lawyer specializing in fire litigation and I would sue the Bridgeport Housing Authority who owned the vacant house where this fire originated.
Here is what the aggrieved can say in their suit.
1. The building was not properly secured and vagrants or an arsonist were able to gain entry.
2. If there were still workmen on the premises what were they doing that may have caused a fire? There are numerous questions but one should look towards the housing authority and their insurance carrier if they are not self-insured.
I have a question. Since when did the housing authority get into the remodeling of two- and three-family dwellings? Was this contract put out to bid?
