At approximately the midpoint of voting the turnout is loathsome across the city, even the traditionally higher turnout areas such as Black Rock extremely low.

Slightly more than 1,000 Democrats have cast ballots at precincts among more than 40,000 registered.

The key battles: 22nd Senatorial between Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox, Bill Finch, Scott Burns and Tyler Mack; 23rd Senatorial between incumbent Heron Gaston and Ernie Newton; and the 124th Assembly seat between incumbent Andre Baker and Eneida Martinez.
