Barnum Festival lineup:
June 27-29: Barnum, the musical, featuring Javier Colon. In partnership with The Barnum Festival and Fairfield Museum & History Center, Fairfield Center Stage presents “Barnum” a free outdoor musical-in-concert, June 27-29, at Fairfield Museum Commons at 370 Beach Rd behind Old Town Hall, Fairfield, CT!
Performances are: Thurs. June 27 at 8 pm, Fri. June 28 at 7:30 pm, Sat. June 29 at 2 pm (matinee), and Sat. June 29 at 7:30 pm. Area street parking is free and the park opens one hour before showtime for seating/picnics.
June 28: Seaside Park Fireworks, 9 p.m.
June 29: Champions On Parade, Kennedy Stadium, 1 Lincoln Boulevard, 6 p.m. The Best Senior Drum Corps in the Northeast will perform in competition at this festival favorite event. Purchase tickets here
June 30, 11 a.m. Great Street Parade, Seaside Park with bands, dancers, drill teams, clowns, creative floats and some Barnum sized surprises. Parade starts at Old Bathhouse and follows the seawall out to Main Street. Free parking in University of Bridgeport lots as well as grassy area in front of Marina Hall opposite the bandshell field, all lots by the baseball fields on Atlantic Street.

Judge Lopez’s parking ticket drew far more notice than the Barnum Festival.
That’s because the fiasco was more like a Circus than the Barnum Festival which is more like the movie “Groundhog Day”…
