On a side note Lennie thank you for the Dartagnan ad. I was looking for some Iberico ham everywhere, this was the only place I found I could order it from. Thank you.
How sad! I would have liked to go and I took off today. Go figure. Talk about communication. No notice! I blame all of the elected officials and the city. Bridgeport “NO PRIDE” Day.
Well no offense. I like Charlie and respect all our elected officials. They must be full of themselves to imagine anyone has the time to look at their websites. I cannot keep up with responded to Facebook posts!! lololololololol. I really do believe they are a little full of themselves. I wonder how many people from Bridgeport let their pride show through by attending. Me, just a low-key day, Went to the gym, went shopping for Passover, cooked, cleaned, went to Home Depot, went to cleaners, took mother to the Inwood to play Mah Jong, picked her up four hours later. You know, boring stuff. I would have taken a ride to the state Capitol. Last time I was there we were protesting the Nob Hill Detention Center. 🙂
Oh, it’s a good thing we got plenty of notice! When does the bus leave?
Oh, excuse the sarcasm.

Will be there in spirit!

They do Bridgeport Day every year up at the Capitol. Same with Hartford and New Haven day.
E.g., State Rep. Stallworth has been promoting the event since March 29th on his CGA page:
