The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing bridge work will be performed on I-95 northbound and southbound in Milford, Stratford, and Bridgeport between exits 27 and 34. This project is scheduled to occur on Sunday, May 18, 2025 and be completed on Friday, July 18, 2025. There will be various lane closures on Interstate 95 from Sunday, May 18, 2025 to Friday, July 18, 2025 from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Oh, no,! And just when CTDOT is finishing up the huge Turnpikebridge rehabilitation projects on the Yankee Doodle Bridge over the Norwalk River and the bridge over the Saugatuck River in Westport. Sometimes the delays in the middle of the night are worse than the delays during the day for traffic congestion. And for the past two years, how is it that CTDOT scheduled major road rehabilitation,projects at the Westport-Norwalk line on both the Turnpike and the Merritt simultaneously? Asking for a beleaguered and tired driver friend.
