Police patrols check in with businesses.

He notes as the department beefs up personnel it provides more flexibility for police presence to build community relationships.

New officers on foot patrol – here to connect with you

Our newest officers have started walking the beat in neighborhoods across the city. You’ll see them out and about, checking in with residents, visiting businesses, and being a visible presence in the community.

Their goal is simple, build trust, strengthen relationships, and stay connected to the people we serve.

If you see them during your day, don’t hesitate to say hello. They’re here for you.
