All available police officers were hanging out on Brooklawn Ave issuing seatbelt and cell phone citations. Why would you want to interrupt the revenue stream with a pesky little taxpayer bleeding issue? If there is one thing Bridgeport does well, it is bleed taxpayers.
*** If P/D was that busy, the dispatcher if called more than once by the plaintiffs about the wait should have instructed them to go to P/D headquarters to file a written complaint, no? *** IA will not find fault with the dispatcher nor the responding officer in this case nor any complaints against their own. However, it should be taken all the way to the P/D commission just to establish a paper trail for future record. *** FIGHT THE POWER! ***
