With less than two weeks until the Nov. 2 election we may see a steady flow of elections complaints from both sides. This one is from GOP State Party Chair Chris Healy. Note to Healy, AB applications come from the Town Clerk. From Healy:
NEW BRITAIN – Republican State Party Chairman Chris Healy Wednesday filed a complaint with the State Elections Enforcement Commission alleging that 250 absentee ballot applications were illegally obtained from local officials.
“Republicans believe as many people who can legally vote should on November 2nd,” said Healy. “Those who think they can vote early and often should think twice about trying to abuse this sacred privilege.”
According to the complaint, two persons who identified themselves as Sam Adoino and Sammy Adoino, Jr. signed out the applications from the Bridgeport City Clerk’s, both used the address of 1238 North Avenue, Bridgeport. The address in question is a vacant lot (see enclosed photo) and efforts to locate the person with the phone or voter registration directory failed to turn up the applicant in question.
This is not the first time voter irregularities have occurred in Bridgeport. In 2008, members of the now defunct group ACORN were found to have registered voters who were incarcerated or underage.
“This is an important election and we must ensure that those who are legally entitled to cast their ballots can do so,” said Healy. “Local election officials must be on guard at all times to make sure that our system is legitimate and the results reflect an honest voter operation.”

*** Nothing new, also the elections enforcement committee will do nada like always. *** SOS ***
Tit for Tat!

30% of Democratic voters will be voting out of their districts. 75% of those voting by AB will have been coached as to how to and for whom to vote, when they aren’t sick or out of town on election day. 60% of Democratic voters don’t understand the electoral process, or know who their Representative is. 75% don’t know what a Town Committee is (they think it’s an OIB blogger). Elections Enforcement (whatever that means) during the coming election should be handled by Federal authorities as candidates for Federal office are on the ballot. The Republican Party shouldn’t waste their time in filing complaints with CEEC. Go Federal!
Politics in Bridgeport is a dreadful bore. Nothing really changes here. ABs are still manipulated, the city’s payroll is expanded by a bunch of parasitic “insiders” and the administration does nothing of any substance for THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF BRIDGEPORT.
