Watch: Lamont Tours East End Development Featuring Grocery Store, Pharmacy, Healthcare Facility, Bank Branch

Backed by city and state dollars including $3.5 million from Connecticut’s Community Investment Fund the East  End’s Honey Locust Square project is making progress to completion, according to developer Anthony Stewart who has lined up a grocery store, M&T Bank branch, restaurant,  pharmacy and healthcare facility along the Stratford Avenue corridor to join an adjacent library.

Governor Ned Lamont checked out an update on Friday with a tour of the development under construction and provided kudos to freshman State Senator Herron Gaston who faces an August 13 primary from City Councilman Ernie Newton.
