Tonight Andre Baker, Howard Gardner, and Dave Hennessey won a Democratic primary election for Bridgeport Board of Education against a slate of endorsed Democratic candidates. The victory continues the community-led effort to protect public education.
“Bridgeport voters want school leadership that puts the needs of our students ahead of the demand for profit,” said Lindsay Farrell, Executive Director of the Connecticut Working Families party. “Congratulations to Andre Baker, Howard Gardner, and Dave Hennessey.
