Woo-Hoo! 897,582 Views For OIB In 2013

Where did the time go? We’ve now entered the seventh year of OIB. Each year the audience has grown. Thank you for taking the time to share a slice of city life. We’re toast without you.

Google Analytics compiles stats on behalf of OIB. For 2013 we had 897,582 total views (the number of pages viewed); 364,505 visits; and 108,881 unique visitors (the number of unduplicated, counted only once, visitors to the webzine). Not bad for a little site.

The top community reader visits:
Bridgeport, Stratford, Fairfield, Hartford, Trumbull, New Haven, Milford, Newtown.

As long as you keep showing up we’ll stay at it in 2014. Thank you.

  1. Or if you take away all of my non-wise-ass comments, oh forget about that, all of my comments are wise-ass in nature. Speaking of which, Happy New Year Lennie, Joel, JML and all of my fellow OIB bloggers.

  2. Bridgeport’s Mayor Bill,
    He climbed a green hill,
To see Long Island Sound water.
    From that snowy side street,
    He continued to tweet,
But the plows never found him ’til later.

“How To Keep Taxpayers in the Dark,” “Still Green After All These Years” and “American Hustle–Bridgeport Style” are alternative titles being considered for the coming Finch memoir. A memoir allows for reflections, half-truths and outright dissembling not generally tolerated in a biographic work.

Question for 2014: If Finch were not Mayor, how many fewer clicks would OIB otherwise record? Time will tell.

  3. *** As one of the Oscar Award’s “minded” best supporting blogger on OIB who has contributed many popular opinionated blogs about everything and; anything on this site. I propose a Jan-Feb. gathering of all its main bloggers, etc. at the DREAMGIRLS show at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre, no? Lennie, can you say “discounted tickets” in advance for a New Year celebration? *** TIME TO MOVE QUICKLY ***
